November was a busy month. Mazy competed in eight conformation shows, all of them in Arizona, and now has 10 points with two majors.

Mazy went to the Poodle Club of America National Specialty held in Salisbury, Maryland, June 6 to June 10, 2004.
Mazy was one of the final eight bitches in the 9 to 12 month puppy bitch class out of a large class of 32 bitches.

Perhaps that big wooden poodle wasn't such a bad idea after all. Mazy seems to look to it for inspiration.

Here, and in the following pictures, Mazy is eight months old. She is getting ready for her first conformation show. She is groomed in the AKC-approved puppy clip.
Mazy is learning how to walk on a wooden board. This excercise prepares her for the dogwalk.
Mazy is going up an adjustable teeter. It is set low to give her confidence.
Mazy gets a treat from the target plate on the other side of the teeter.

These are channel weave poles. They can be gradually moved together, towards a straight line. Plastic guides keep the dog in the weave pole path.
